Blocks!!
As in :I've got writers(and I use the term loosely in my case)block
There must be something in the water as better bloggers than me here are coming down with it.Possibly its a seasonal thing , possibly new years resolutions and actually having a life are getting in the way , I'm not sure.
I've been trying to get around to throwing a few lines up here since , about the start of the year, but the problem being, that every idea I've come up with , has well , been a bit on the shite side to be honest
Anyway heres something that might interest , possibly

retro gaming nights
A few mates of mine were originally going to have a lan party (i.e. connecting some pcs together at a freinds house , playing games and shooting wildly at formentioned friends, all the while slagging off their gaming prowess, drinking copiously and laughing like a loon while doing it),But for various logistical reasons (i.e. no-one could get the finger out and actually organise moving the PC's), and also as one of my mates made the suprising announcement he could get his hands on a projector , this turned into a retro games night.
This involves hooking a pc , running MAME (a program that lets you run thousands of old arcade games) to a tv or projector, and connecting 3 or 4 joypads to the PC.Adding gaming inclined friends plus alcohol and using the "random game" feature on mame and you've got a good laugh.Split everyone into 2 teams with playoffs and it gets better .Lastly if youve got mates like mine (hello mick and dec) who will bet on the outcome of two flies crawling up a wall, things can get , well interesting. I.e. getting a lower score at centipede or losing a game of StreetfighterII or track and field (my fingers!!) can cost someone 20 quid, it realy puts the pressure on .Havng the projector was a plus too , although seeing a foot high pacman on your mates kitchen wall is a bit strange at first....
